The very hungry caterpillar was written by the renowned children’s book author Mr. Eric Carle. Not only did he write the book but he is the one who illustrated and designed it as well.
The story is about a caterpillar that after coming out of
its egg started to feel hungry. So he began to look for some food to satisfy
his taste buds. I wonder what kind of food it will eat? (I won’t tell the story
here though, you have to go and find out by yourself!)
The colorful and unique style of Eric Carle's drawing will definitely capture one's attention. It's not just the story itself but there are many things especially a teacher (and parents too!) who can connect it to subjects such as Science (Life Cycle of a Butterfly), Health (Junk Foods) and even the 7 Days of the Week.

I recommend this book to everybody even if it’s a bit pricey
here in our country. Still, it is a good investment. Then again just in case
you don’t have the money to buy such book, Just go on to You Tubemand search for the story but I always say there is nothing like holding a good and real book!
